SUMMARY:I took a tour at 11:00 am at the Yukon Wildlife Preserve today. I saw 10 of their native wildlife being cared for in the preserve. I was able to photograph wood bison, moose, caribou, elk, red fox, ground squirrels, musk ox, thin horn sheep, and mountain goats. The lynx was not up to showing herself today! It is possible to just go for a walk here and see these animals or taking a bike around this 350-acre preserve started by one man with a third-grade education who loved wildlife and had a deep connection to them. The government now owns this preserve, but donations go directly to this park for the animals.
