If there is a hell on earth, it is exposed between Burwash Landing, Canada and Tok, Alaska. I stopped at the Burwash Landing Yukon Museum of History. This is an incredible place with exhibits on all the wildlife in Canda and Alaska. I was so glad I stopped in. But I have never seen such bad roads under construction from this point forward. Ten-mile stretches having to follow a pilot pickup after very long waits. The roads were solid dirt, rough, washboard, and I actually screamed out loud after 5 of the 10 mile stretches. It was perfectly awful! I am hoping since I have to return to Canada this way that they will get more of these roads fixed by September 1st! OMG, not good for any vehicle. They don’t have much time to fix the roads. My tires held up and my tire pressure monitor system worked superbly! Fingers crossed, knock on wood, and all that jazz! I was never so glad to get to the Discovery Yukon Lodging RV Park! I saw four vehicles with flat tires on this stretch of road. One camper, not scheduled to stay overnight, waited 12 hours for a new tire, and he was still waiting when I left the next morning. A slice of heaven after hellish bad roads. It was a quiet place to stay for one night. Lousy Wi-Fi and cell coverage; had to sit in office or on the deck to do any work!
