My sister let me know that the possible eruption of Mount Spurr returned to a normal status, so that was great news.  No volcano eruption for now!  I visited Ship Creek very close to my RV park in Anchorage today.  This stream runs from the wilderness of Chugach State Park to the Anchorage Port.  This water provides drinking water to Anchorage.  I was able to see a few salmon spawning in this little stream, but the homeless made it less desirable for me to hang around!
