Took a side trip to see the original, no longer used bridge built on the “Old Alaska Highwayt.” An amazing gravel drive. The first 300 miles were really good roads; no ruts, smooth driving. Really happy with this drive. Stayed at Triple G Hideaway, Fort Nelson. Saw the old cars in the Heritage Museum. Well worth the $7+ senior fee. The information center was so worth the stop. Great information about roads to Alaska and wildlife along the way. Got some sourdough starter for a few people!
